We want all of our dental patients to have an enjoyable and stress-free first visit with us, which is why we’ve provided all of the information that we believe is important to prepare for your appointment below. Your First Visit
If your first visit with us is a checkup and cleaning, when you enter our dental office, we’ll input your information into our system and guide you back to one of our comfortable treatment rooms. There, you’ll meet our experienced dental hygienist who will capture any necessary X-rays and examine your teeth, gums, and oral tissues. After your cleaning, Dr. Lee or Dr. Lauren Lee Polito, DMD will see you and walk you through any issues they found. They’ll conduct a final checkup of your mouth and lay out a treatment plan for you, if necessary, as well as answer any questions that you may have.
Or, if you come to see us because of a specific issue, such as a toothache or broken/knocked-out tooth, we’ll perform an emergency exam and solely focus on fixing your problem as quickly as possible. We’ll stop any pain first, and then we’ll discuss further repairs if needed so we can get your oral health back on track in no time.

Dental Insurance
We welcome most dental insurances at our dental office and are happy to file claims electronically on the day of your visit to maximize any insurance benefits. Our goal is to provide you with top-tier dental care without being restricted by insurance coverage or limitations, and we’re able to do that by filing claims but not being under contract with any insurance company. Payment is due at the time of your visit and if you have dental insurance they will reimburse you personally based on your plan's coverage. We recommend you contact our dental office prior to your appointment with your insurance information so we can help make the insurance process easy and more predictable. We are ready to help you!
